About this Minecraft server and how things work around here, not just in the server, but in the community around it.

About the Server

MeowcaTheoRange's Minecraft server is just a server I made out of frustration of how fucked up vanilla Minecraft is.

This server is vanilla-compatible, of course, but there are a LOT of modifications.

Durability is gone, and Bundles are Braver. It's easier to chop trees and it's easier to mine ores. You can own a home and teleport to that home. Time is time in real life CST and stuff.

All the things you might love to see in a Minecraft survival server.

Territories

The server is split up into 4 territories, much like the old TrollCall server I used to manage.

There's Flame, Lightning, Mineral, and Droplet.

When you join the server for the first time, the territory you enter from will be the team you will stay with for the rest of your time on this server.

Each team gets a territory, and recieves Strength for staying in that territory, plus an extra buff unique to each team.

Flame recieves Fire Resistance,
Lightning recieves Speed I,
Mineral recieves Haste II,
and Droplet recieves Water Breathing.

You can also recieve Strength for sticking around with a teammate.

You cannot attack your own teammates, nor any pets. Pets also do not attack players.

Server Rules

There are very few rules. This is mainly because mc.abtmtr.link isn't a server you should be subservient to.

Mostly, you are free to play the way you'd like to.

Duping and other glitches are sort of allowed - just don't use it to get an advantage over anyone.

You will only really be banned if you are trying to be an ass.

You can also grief, but please don't do it maliciously against the server, and especially not against your own team.

One rule - only recurring members can steal. This is to prevent players from taking items and then logging out forever. Any items taken from other players will be returned to them once identified.

A snapshot backup system of the world is put in place to counteract mass-griefing.
